Michael Pratt
Michael Pratt is Professor of Law at Queen’s University. He holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Sydney, a BSc and LLM from the University of Toronto, and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School. Before joining Queen’s Law, he taught at the University of Queensland and the University of Alberta and previously served as Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. He teaches private law subjects including contracts, advanced contracts, real estate transactions, remedies, and torts. His scholarship focuses on contract law, remedies, and real estate transactions. He is the author of the prize-winning treatise Termination and Rescission of Agreements for the Purchase and Sale of Land (Toronto: LexisNexis Canada, 2023).
