Mark J. Picone, BComm, CCC, MBA Mark Picone’s early experience in his family’s food retail boutique evolved organically into a career as an educator, chef, and vineyard proprietor. Mark currently teaches at the Canadian Food and Wine Institute at Niagara College, where his regular engagement with students has reinforced his role as a mentor. He has continued to develop his creative eye while keeping his finger on the pulse of Niagara regional cuisine and celebrating the spirit of social gastronomy. His belief in sustainable farming led to him acquiring his prized vineyard, which is nestled into the Vinemount sub-appellation in Vineland, Ontario.
