Mannu Chowdhury
Mannu Chowdhury is an Ontario lawyer with extensive teaching experience. In his legal practice, Mannu litigates constitutional, administrative, and commercial disputes before all levels of court in Ontario and has made several appearances before the Supreme Court of Canada. His clientele ranges from vulnerable communities to large businesses to civil liberties organizations.
In addition to his legal practice, Mannu teaches first-year constitutional law and administrative law at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, as well as an upper-year course on constitutional litigation at Osgoode Hall Law School. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on constitutional and administrative law, covering topics such as press freedoms, the scope of judicial review, and tribunal independence. His academic work has been cited by the Ontario Court of Appeal.
