Recognizing that one size does not fit all, Emond Exam Prep Tutoring allows tutors to use different teaching platforms, whether it be Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or other compatible tools. This flexibility enables both tutors and candidates to engage in a more effective learning environment, greater interaction, and better communication.

Emond Exam Prep Tutoring prioritizes flexibility in scheduling, allowing tutors to set their availability in advance so you can better plan your tutoring sessions. Once you purchase your tutoring hours, select your preferred tutor, and choose a date and time that aligns with your prep. Anthony Gordon

Anthony’s tutoring focuses on tax law and estates. His academic credentials include a law degree and a master's degree in taxation law. He also possesses several certifications, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Certified Executor Advisor (CEA), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). 

Anthony's expertise includes financial, tax, and estate planning strategies for business owners and professionals. For the past several years, he has been actively involved in delivering seminars and workshops on financial planning and estate planning. 
 

Paola Beci

Paola’s tutoring focuses on civil litigation, family law, condominium law (real estate), and ethics and professional responsibility.

Choosing to study law in Australia, Paola obtained her Juris Doctor, specializing in International Trade Law. Following which she worked at a prominent firm in Brisbane, and in 2017 she was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland. Paola returned to Canada, and while completing her NCAs she was a public servant, including serving as Senior Advisor to Ontario’s Chief Negotiator and advising the provincial government on the context of NAFTA 2.0. 
 

Tara Seosankar 

Tara’s tutoring focuses on civil litigation, employment law (business law), and ethics and professional responsibility. 

Tara’s practice focused on labour and employment law where she gained experience and special knowledge of human rights, wrongful dismissal (both employee and employer sides), and many other key areas. Tara is experienced in administrative law, in relation to hearings before various boards and tribunals, and civil litigation. Tara also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Durham Region Legal Clinic.
 

Darren Smith

Darren’s tutoring focuses on public law, business law, bankruptcy law, and exam preparation including study strategies and exam writing.  

Darren was called to the Bar in 2004 and worked in private practice for 15 years focusing on civil and commercial litigation before joining Emond Publishing. Darren acted as an Articling Principal and mentor to junior lawyers. Darren served as a Director on the board of several not-for-profit corporations where he was responsible for overseeing corporate governance. For the past five years, Darren has been developing and running Emond Exam Prep, providing help to candidates in all substantive areas of the Licensing Examinations as well as advice and support on preparation strategies and writing techniques and skills.

Emond Exam Prep Tutoring adopts a straightforward pricing model—$165 per hour, exclusively purchasable by the hour. This approach allows you to tailor your tutoring experience to your specific needs and requirements without the constraints of a predefined package, times, or dates.  

To purchase your tutoring session, visit the Emond Exam Prep Tutoring page. Click on "Buying Options" and select the 1-hour tutoring session purchase option within the drop-down menu. To book a tutoring session, head over to the Digital Learning Centre. This is where you will select your tutor along with a time and date that they have made available.
